Artist Statement
Human condition, behavior and experience are fascinating topics I take a deep dive into. I often create work as if it was part of a larger story that can exist in big colorful books or snippets of cerebral movies where the characters are exaggerated and dressed in surrealism. While the palette is prismatic and playful, some pieces do reflect the irresponsibility, dark, and unfortunate errors of human activity.
Nonetheless, whether it's a story of triumph or defeat, my hopes are to have the viewers see the work and finish telling the story or start it. Maybe imagine themselves as part of the story so that in more ways than one, it becomes a subconscious contribution to what I create.
